I’ve been trying to limit my intake of coffee, especially on non-work days. But I’ve found myself too attached to the ritual to get rid of it entirely.
Decaf has proved to be a great substitute. While it still costs money, it doesn’t come with any of the negative side effects, still tastes great, and fills the hole in my day that used to be filled by caffeinated coffee.
For those who think cold-turkey might be too difficult and aren’t as worried about the financial piece, decaf can be an awesome place to start.
